ONLY FOR “MOKA ADDICTED”
At home, we try to never throw anything away, and when I discovered the many uses for this food scrap, I was fascinated; let's just say it was one of the first "zero waste" actions I've implemented...
The coffee grounds!
Have you ever thought about reusing them?
Its uses are many!!!
- ELIMINATE odors! Place coffee grounds in a glass to eliminate odors in your kitchen or refrigerator!
- Another use, which came in handy for me during an ant infestation, is to place it in the areas where these tiny animals make their nests... it will keep them away and you won't have to use repellent!
-Cleaning your stainless steel kitchen sink! Especially if your sink is very dirty, use a non-abrasive sponge and a little water to scrub away the coffee grounds... you won't need any chemicals, and your sink will shine again!
But let's also talk about beauty!
If you want to opt for products that are as natural as possible, make a scrub with coffee grounds and add coconut or almond oil. This will revitalize your skin. Applying the scrub in circular motions from the bottom up to specific problem areas will help stimulate microcirculation for an anti-cellulite effect! The same mixture is also useful as a facial scrub (in this case, since I have sensitive skin, I use more oil than coffee so as not to overly irritate my skin).
-A last very useful use for me, since I have a slightly immature green thumb, is to put it in plant pots as a fertilizer!!!
